Its February 14th, and for normal people that would mean Valentine's Day.... in our anything-but-normal household, it means AZ Statehood Day. Its extra special this year, because the Great State of Arizona is celebrating 100 years of statehood. We were the last of the 48 contiguous states to be accepted into the fold, so we're like that bratty youngest kid in the family who always throws a tantrum over the smallest thing to try and get more attention. Now we're 100 years old though... and still throwing the occasional tantrum. Arizona is truly like no place else.
Here's to another 100 years....
